A RICS HomeBuyer Report is a detailed visual inspection of the property. This survey provides an account of the property’s condition and highlights significant problems with clear, understandable language. It focuses on urgent or significant defects that may affect the value of the property. We pride our selves in being responsive, turning a report around promptly and explaining findings in plain English. We offer a full range of structural snagging and roof surveys, and bespoke fault-finding building surveys for individuals, home buyers, estate agents, landlords, property investors and more. We work closely with Lawyers, Executors, Trustees and the General Public to provide written valuation reports for either probate or potential sale through auction. A property valuation report is a legal and professional assessment of the price of a property, usually prepared for various reasons. An Independent Valuation Report is one conducted by a neutral party who has no interest in the property being assessed. Many matrimonial valuations are, following “The Woolf” report, usually carried out by a qualified surveyor/valuer jointly appointed by both parties in the divorce with an independent valuation report provided for and to the Court. Valuations are also carried out for the benefit of single parties for negotiation purposes. The Target Government Help to Buy scheme has helped thousands of people to buy their home by offering a contribution towards the initial purchase. This means that they continue to own a percentage of your home. You may decide that you wish to buy back some, or all of the Help to Buy share of your home. If you do, you will need a RICS Help to Buy Survey (otherwise known as a Help to Buy valuation Report). – Residential Survey Client, November, 2022RICS Approved Bespoke Homebuyer Report

“As a house purchase is a significant transaction for my partner and myself, we wanted to be sure that the survey was thorough. Martin took the time to walk through the different kinds of survey and their benefits. When the survey was completed he also walked us through the detail. Would recommend.”
